Jumbo home loans are mortgages that are above the conforming lending limit, which is currently at £400,000. Our Jumbo loans range between £400,000 and up to £600,000 for high-balance conforming.
Jumbo home loans are often requested by clients who wish to buy or build in high-priced real estate markets such as Jersey, the Channel Islands or London. Apply for a mortgage
We will ask you questions to work out a detailed affordability assessment. This could involve some detailed questioning of your finances and plans that could impact your future income. If your application is accepted, the lender will provide you with a binding offer.
An interest-only mortgage is a loan in which, for a set term, the borrower pays only the interest on the principal balance, with the principal balance unchanged. At the end of the interest-only term the borrower will pay the principal, or convert the loan to a principal and interest payment (or amortized) loan at his/her option.
Interest-only mortgage can be useful:
When you plan to be in the home for only a short period of time.
When you earn a sizable bonus or income from commissions and want the ability to make larger, irregular payments to cut down on principal faster.
When you prefer to keep monthly payments low for a period of time
When you plan to be in the home for only a short period of time.
When you want to buy a house now but expect large amount of money later (eg. inheritance).
